Congress Leaders Visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Seek Blessings for Peace and Prosperity

Ajmer, May 24: Congress state in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Rajasthan Assembly opposition leader Tikaram Julie, and Delhi Congress in-charge Qazi Nizamuddin visited the world-renowned Ajmer Sharif Dargah on Sunday. They offered a chadar and flowers at the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, praying for peace, prosperity, and brotherhood in the country and the state.

During their visit to the dargah, the Congress leaders expressed their devotion in a traditional manner, praying for peace, social harmony, and the prosperity of the people at the shrine of Khwaja Garib Nawaz. Accompanying them were Delhi Congress co-in-charge Danish Abrar, Congress MLA Indra Meena, and Sanjay Jatav.

This visit by Congress leaders to the Ajmer Dargah is considered significant from both political and social perspectives. It is seen as part of organizational and public outreach activities, coinciding with a ten-day training camp for Congress in Pushkar.

Upon their arrival at the dargah, a crowd of supporters and local residents gathered to greet the leaders. Amid tight security, they performed the ziyarat, conveying a message of Sufi tradition and communal harmony.
