Madhya Pradesh April 13, 2025: The long-awaited 23rd installment of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana is expected to be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts soon, offering much-needed relief to more than 1.2 crore women across Madhya Pradesh. The scheme, a cornerstone initiative of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has been instrumental in empowering women and played a critical role in shaping political sentiment across the state.

Delay in April Installment Raises Questions
The installment, typically disbursed on the 10th of every month, did not reflect in beneficiaries’ accounts this April, triggering widespread speculation and concern. Government sources indicate that the delay is temporary and the 23rd installment may be transferred between April 11 and April 13.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ongoing tour of Madhya Pradesh, particularly his visit to Shri Anandpur Dham in Ashoknagar district, has fueled expectations that the funds may be released as part of the visit’s announcements. Additionally, with Hanuman Jayanti on April 12 and Home Minister Amit Shah scheduled to visit the state on April 13, authorities might align the fund release with one of these significant dates.
Monthly Support Remains at ₹1250
Amid reports suggesting a potential increase in the payout under the Ladli Behna Yojana, the Madhya Pradesh government has officially clarified that the current assistance of ₹1250 per month will remain unchanged. Earlier discussions about increasing the amount to ₹3000 have been put on hold for now.
The ₹1250 monthly installment is transferred directly to the Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of eligible women, providing financial stability and promoting self-reliance among beneficiaries.
