
Udaipur, March 18: The district administration is actively working to implement the recently passed state budget announcements for the fiscal year 2026-27. In this context, a review meeting was held on Tuesday at the mini conference hall of the district collectorate, chaired by District Collector Namit Mehta. The meeting extensively discussed the current progress of budget announcements related to various departments, and necessary directives were provided to the concerned officials.
Effective Implementation of Budget Announcements is a Top Priority
District Collector Namit Mehta emphasized that the effective implementation of budget announcements on the ground is the state government’s top priority. He instructed all departmental officials to work diligently on each announcement and ensure progress within the stipulated time frame. He made it clear that any negligence or unnecessary delays at any level would not be tolerated. During the meeting, district-level officials from various departments presented their progress reports related to budget announcements. The Collector particularly focused on those announcements where the land allocation process is pending. He directed the concerned officials to complete all necessary actions related to land allocation on a priority basis to avoid any hindrance in the implementation of the schemes.
Review of Progress on B-SUKA Program and Flagship Schemes
The meeting also reviewed the progress of the 20-point program and the state government’s flagship schemes in the district. The Collector instructed the preparation of departmental strategies to improve the district’s ranking in these schemes and emphasized regular monitoring. He urged officials to conduct continuous reviews of the schemes at their level and to obtain regular feedback on progress at the field level. Present at the meeting were Additional District Collector Deependra Singh Rathore, District Council CEO Riya Dabi, District Supply Officer, and trainee IAS officer Shrishti Dabas, along with various district-level officials from different departments.
