
Udaipur, March 21: In a swift response, Udaipur police have cracked the car arson case that occurred on the night of March 18 in the Surajpol area. The incident involved a vehicle owned by Vijay Pardeshi, a resident of Thakkar Bappa Colony, which was set ablaze, causing significant damage. Upon receiving the report, the fire brigade promptly arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames, while the police quickly registered a case and initiated an investigation.
A dedicated team, formed to probe the incident, utilized technical evidence and local intelligence to identify and arrest the suspect, Ramchandra. During initial questioning, he confessed to committing the act.
Investigations revealed a longstanding dispute between the suspect and the victim regarding vehicle parking. Fueled by this animosity, Ramchandra, under the influence of alcohol, extracted petrol from his motorcycle and set fire to the car’s tires. The police are now proceeding with further inquiries and legal actions in the case.
