Tonk, March 30: BJP Youth Wing State President Shankar Gora launched a sharp critique of the Congress party, claiming that in 2018, Congress gained power under the leadership of Sachin Pilot, only for Pilot to later struggle against his own government.
During a media interaction at a BJP event in Tonk, Gora stated that Congress misled farmers and various communities to secure power. He highlighted that Sachin Pilot had to undertake a foot march from Ajmer to Jaipur to voice his demands and even convened with his own legislators in Manesar.
Gora pointed out the internal discord within Congress, asserting that Sachin Pilot does not have a good rapport with his own party leaders. He also accused opposition leader Tikaram Julie and PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra of lacking coordination.
Regarding a recent stone-pelting incident in Tonk, Gora emphasized that the law applies equally to everyone and strict action will be taken against those who resort to violence. He warned that the government will not tolerate any disturbances to law and order in Rajasthan and may even resort to demolitions in such cases.
Gora affirmed that the BJP government is focused on youth empowerment. He mentioned that under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership, a calendar for over one lakh government recruitments across various departments for 2026 has been released, ensuring timely employment opportunities for the youth.
