Jaipur, February 17 The ongoing fluctuations in RAJASTHAN’s weather continued on Sunday, with cloud cover appearing in multiple regions by evening. While the day remained clear in most parts of the state, cities such as Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Bharatpur divisions witnessed cloudy skies in the later hours. Meanwhile, daytime temperatures dropped by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius in several districts, including Tonk, Jaipur, Sikar, Kota, Udaipur, Baran, Sri Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh.

According to weather experts, this change in weather patterns is being driven by a Western Disturbance (WD) originating from Pakistan. While the Jaipur Meteorological Center has predicted dry conditions on Monday, the forecast indicates cloudy skies with the possibility of light rain between February 18 and 20.

Cloud Cover Over Major Regions of Rajasthan

Late on Sunday night, thick clouds were observed in multiple districts, including Bikaner, Jodhpur, Churu, Nagaur, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Dholpur, Karauli, Ajmer, Sikar, and Jhunjhunu. The changing weather patterns have led to fluctuating temperatures, impacting both daytime and nighttime conditions.

Temperature Trends Across Rajasthan

As per data from the Jaipur Meteorological Center, the highest maximum temperature in Rajasthan was recorded in Barmer at 35°C, followed by:

In Sikar and Pilani, the maximum temperature stood at 28°C, with minimum temperatures of 11.8°C and 11.1°C, respectively.

Additionally, several other cities experienced high daytime temperatures, with:

Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, Churu, Phalodi, Nagaur, Hanumangarh, Baran, and Dholpur recording a maximum of 32.9°C.
Hanumangarh had the lowest minimum temperature at 8.9°C, followed by Nagaur at 9.3°C.

Despite the fluctuating temperatures in other regions, Mount Abu remained Rajasthan’s coldest place, recording:
