Grand Aarti Celebrates Rajasthan Day at Lake Pichola

Udaipur, March 18: A magnificent Aarti was held on the banks of Lake Pichola at Manjhi Ghat on the eve of Chaitra Pratipada, as part of the Rajasthan Day celebrations directed by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The event, organized by the district administration, Udaipur Development Authority, and the Department of Devasthan, created a spiritual atmosphere that captivated the attendees.

Local MLA Tarachand Jain, rural MLA Phoolsingh Meena, Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, District Collector Namit Mehta, City ADM Jitendra Ojha, and UDA Secretary Hemendra Nagar were among the many representatives and officials present.

The ceremony included traditional worship, with the ghat illuminated by countless lamps, accompanied by chanting and devotional music, creating a divine ambiance. A large number of residents and tourists participated, showcasing a remarkable example of community involvement. Hundreds joined the representatives and officials in performing the Ganga Aarti, elevating the celebration of Rajasthan Day and bringing Udaipur’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage to life. The event also saw the presence of Additional Commissioner of Devasthan Giteshshri Malviya, Assistant Commissioner of Devasthan Jatin Gandhi, social worker Ravindra Shrimali, and many other dignitaries and citizens.
