April 18, 2025 — New Delhi: Honda Cars India has expanded its eco-friendly lineup with the introduction of CNG-powered versions of its popular models, the Honda Elevate SUV and Honda Amaze sedan. These new offerings are equipped with government-approved CNG kits retrofitted at the dealership level. Customers will need to visit an authorized dealership to book these CNG variants, as they are currently not available for online reservation.

Retrofitted CNG Kits: What You Need to Know
Honda has made no visual or mechanical changes to distinguish the CNG variants from their petrol counterparts. The CNG tank is installed in the boot, resulting in reduced luggage space. Inside the cabin, the only noticeable addition is a fuel-switch button that lets the driver toggle between petrol and CNG modes.
Despite being dealer-installed, these CNG kits are certified and compliant with government standards, ensuring safety and reliability for daily use.
