Indian Nationals Injured in Iranian Attack Out of Danger, Confirms Embassy

New Delhi, March 2: The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates has reported that Indian nationals were among those injured in the recent Iranian attack. The Indian Embassy in the UAE confirmed that the injured individuals are out of danger and are receiving all possible assistance.

The UAE’s Ministry of Defense issued an update regarding the casualties from the Iranian attacks, noting that there were fatalities among Pakistani, Nepali, and Bangladeshi citizens.

Additionally, the ministry reported that 58 individuals from various nationalities, including Emirati, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, and Afghan, suffered minor injuries.

In response, the Indian Embassy stated that they are aware of the injuries sustained by Indian nationals and are in contact with hospital officials. They assured that the injured individuals are safe and that the embassy is providing all necessary support.

Since the onset of the Iranian attacks, the UAE Air Force and Air Defense Forces have intercepted 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 541 Iranian drones. On the morning of the second day of the attacks, the UAE forces successfully destroyed 20 ballistic missiles, while eight others fell into the sea. They also neutralized two cruise missiles and 311 drones.

The ministry noted that debris from intercepted missiles and drones fell in various regions, causing minor to moderate damage to civilian properties.

The Ministry of Defense expressed its full readiness to address any threats and emphasized that the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors remains the highest priority, with no compromises allowed.
