While there were occasional surges in daytime heat in these districts, the persistent Kal Baisakhi-induced changes in the atmosphere helped break the cycle of extreme temperatures.

This unusual shift marks a significant deviation from previous years, when April often brought with it unbearable heatwaves.

The INDIA Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for several districts in Jharkhand through April 21. The alert predicts possible thunderstorms, lightning strikes, and gusty winds with speeds of 30–40 km/h in parts of the state.
