The merit list, published on April 15, 2025, includes 300+ students selected from top-tier institutions such as:

IITs, IIITs, and other NITs (excluding NIT Trichy)

Private institutions like VIT, SRM, Sastra, and SSN

To be eligible, students had to secure consent from an NITT faculty mentor by email before submitting their application. The absence of a consent letter led to disqualification, even for otherwise strong applicants.
