Udaipur, March 9 (Daily Udaipur) — Leading social organisation Rahda Foundation of Udaipur was honoured with the Pannadhay Suraksha Samman for its outstanding social work during a district-level programme organised on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The event was organised under the aegis of the District Administration and the Women Empowerment Department with the objective of promoting the vision of a strong woman, strong society and strong nation.
Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, District Collector Namit Mehta, and ADJ Kuldeep Sharma attended the ceremony as chief guests.
Under the Pannadhay Suraksha and Samman Yojana, Archana Singh Charan, founder of Rahda Foundation, was honoured with a certificate of appreciation and a memento for her significant contribution to social service.
Speakers at the event said that Rahda Foundation has been actively working in several areas of social service for many years, including education, health, environmental protection, child welfare, and cow-based innovations.
The foundation’s initiative of producing ‘Gokashtha’, an eco-friendly and natural alternative product, has been gaining popularity as an affordable and environmentally sustainable option.
Recently, during a state-level programme held in Jaipur, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also appreciated the initiative after visiting the stall displaying Gokashtha and other cow-based products set up by Rahda Foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Archana Singh Charan said the honour reflects the collective efforts of the entire team, supporters and society. She added that the foundation’s aim is not only to provide social service but also to create awareness and bring positive change in society.
