Udaipur Police Uncover Illegal Weapons and Arrest Seven in Double Murder Case

Udaipur, March 20: In a significant operation, Udaipur police have made two major arrests related to illegal weapons and a double murder case. Authorities apprehended a young man in the Kherwada police station area for possessing illegal firearms, while they also solved a double homicide case in the Baghpura police station area, leading to the arrest of seven suspects.

According to police reports, the Kherwada police acted on a tip-off and arrested Surendra Singh, son of Devendra Singh, a resident of Silawat in the Rajakheda area of Dholpur. The accused was allegedly attempting to sell an illegal country-made pistol.

In a separate incident, police have arrested seven individuals linked to a double murder that occurred on March 13 in the Baghpura area. The suspects include Kanhaiyalal alias Karan, Abhishek, Jitendra, Harish, Emmanuel alias Himanshu, Manish, and Pankaj. Earlier, three minors had also been detained in connection with the case.

Initial investigations suggest that a personal dispute may have triggered the violent incident. The arrested suspects have been presented in court and are currently in police remand, while efforts to locate other suspects are ongoing.
