Youth Registration: Balotra Leads, Barmer Lags
Since the special campaign for 18-19-year-olds and first-time voters began on October 1, approximately 700,000 forms have been received. A review by the election department shows Balotra district is leading in registrations, followed by Banswara, Beawar, Bharatpur, Deeg, Dholpur, Pali, Kotputli-Bahrod, Jhunjhunu, Pratapgarh, Ganganagar, Sawai Madhopur, Dausa, Sikar, and Churu.
Conversely, Barmer district, from which Balotra was formed, has shown the least progress in registrations. Kota, Jaipur, Rajsamand, and Nagaur have also reported slow advancements.
