Kawasaki India has officially launched the much-anticipated 2025 Ninja 650 KRT Edition, adding sharper styling and modern features to one of its best-selling middleweight sport bikes. Priced at ₹7,27,000 (ex-showroom), the latest KRT Edition replaces the outgoing standard model and arrives with a premium of ₹11,000.

Power & Performance: Proven 649cc Engine with Riding Modes
At the heart of the 2025 Ninja 650 KRT Edition lies a 649cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, delivering 67.3 PS of power and 64 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and equipped with a slipper and assist clutch for smoother gear shifts and reduced back-torque. For added versatility, the bike features three riding modes, enabling riders to optimize performance across various conditions.
Key Features: TFT Display, Bluetooth, and Enhanced Safety
The new KRT Edition sports a 4.3-inch TFT color display that provides critical ride data with excellent visibility. Riders can now connect their smartphones via Bluetooth, enhancing convenience during long rides.
Safety features see a major update with dual-channel ABS and traction control now standard. The traction control system offers two modes:
-
Mode 1 for spirited cornering with minimal intrusion
-
Mode 2 for maximum safety and grip during wet or low-traction conditions
The motorcycle also features full LED lighting, ensuring a bold look and clear visibility during night rides.
Handling & Braking: Built for Control and Stability
Built on a high-tensile steel trellis frame, the Ninja 650 KRT offers telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, promising a balance of comfort and control. The bike rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels paired with 120-section front and 160-section rear tires.
Braking is handled by 300mm dual front discs and a 220mm single rear disc, providing confident stopping power under all conditions.
Styling & Color Options
True to Kawasaki’s racing heritage, the 2025 KRT Edition features a refreshed livery that matches the brand’s World Superbike design language. While color schemes like Candy Steel Furnace Orange / Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Matte Old School Green / Metallic Spark Black are available globally, these variants are yet to be confirmed for India. Enthusiasts can expect them to arrive in the coming months.
