Srinagar, February 10 The persistent cloud cover over Kashmir has created favorable conditions for light snowfall in the higher reaches of Kupwara and Baramulla districts of North Kashmir. Similar weather conditions are expected in the upper areas of Ganderbal district in Central Kashmir. Meanwhile, no significant weather activity is anticipated in the plains of Kashmir, except for isolated light rain showers in some parts of North Kashmir. The overall weather pattern is expected to remain stable until the evening of February 14.

According to meteorological forecasts, a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the region on the night of February 15-16, primarily impacting the higher altitudes of the valley. However, no major weather activity is expected until February 18.
The continuous cloud cover has led to an improvement in temperatures, and a gradual rise in both minimum and maximum temperatures is expected over the coming days.
