New Delhi, April 16, 2025 Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has officially launched the 2025 Honda Dio, introducing significant upgrades in technology, connectivity, and compliance. Available in two trims DLX and H-Smart the scooter is priced at ₹96,749 and ₹1,02,144 respectively (ex-showroom, India).
Smart Tech and Connected Features
One of the most notable additions to the 2025 Dio is the new 4.2-inch TFT digital instrument cluster. Riders now have access to mileage indicators, trip meter, real-time fuel economy, and distance-to-empty readouts. The Dio also supports Honda RoadSync, enabling smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, enhancing the urban commuting experience.
The H-Smart variant comes equipped with a smart key system, enabling features like keyless start, remote unlock, anti-theft alarm, and answer-back functionality. A USB Type-C port is also included to charge mobile devices on the go.
Engine and Efficiency
Under the hood, the 2025 Honda Dio is powered by a 123.92cc air-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine, delivering 8.19 bhp and 10.5 Nm of peak torque. The engine is now OBD2-compliant, adhering to the latest emission norms. Additionally, Honda has integrated an idling start/stop system to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impact, especially in stop-and-go traffic conditions.
