
Chittorgarh, April 16: A soldier from Bhadesar, identified as Wrestler Gurjar, has tragically passed away due to a heart attack while on duty in Delhi. The incident occurred at 6:50 AM.
Wrestler Gurjar, son of Ram Lal Gurjar, was serving in the 24th Battalion of the Rajput Regiment since March 20, 2017. He was stationed in Delhi at the time of his untimely demise.
His funeral will be held with full state honors in his ancestral village, Dheer Ji Ka Khera, on Friday. Gurjar’s elder brother, Ramesh, and father, Ram Lal, are engaged in agricultural work. His elder sister, Kanku, is married and resides in Thakurwa. Gurjar’s wife, Vidya Gurjar, and their three-year-old daughter, Kirtika, were living with him in Delhi. His body is being transported from Delhi to their village for the final rites.
The administration is making extensive arrangements for the funeral.
