Jaipur, May 7, 2025 Weather conditions in RAJASTHAN continue to fluctuate as the INDIA Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued storm and rainfall alerts for 22 districts, with Orange Alerts in 6 districts and Yellow Alerts in 15 others. The influence of a Western Disturbance persists, offering much-needed respite from the heat across several regions.

Districts including Udaipur, Barmer, Jodhpur, Jalore, Sawai Madhopur, and Tonk witnessed scattered rainfall on Tuesday, while maximum temperatures dropped below 30°C in at least seven major cities, including Udaipur and Bhilwara.
Orange and Yellow Alerts in Place
According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, the following advisories have been issued:

Orange Alert: Storms with wind speeds of 40–70 km/h and moderate to heavy rainfall expected in 6 districts

Yellow Alert: Light rainfall and thunderstorms forecasted in 15 districts, with unstable weather continuing through May 10 in 30 districts statewide
These warnings reflect heightened risks of localized flooding, wind damage, and lightning, urging residents and authorities to remain vigilant.
