New Delhi, March 1: The T20 World Cup 2026 will feature a match between South Africa and Zimbabwe today. This exciting encounter is set to take place at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi. The match will run from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Due to the expected influx of spectators, a special traffic arrangement will be in effect from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM to ensure safety and convenience for the public.
To manage traffic flow, diversions will be implemented on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and JLN Marg as needed. Heavy vehicles will be restricted from entering Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg from Daryaganj and from Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali Road. Spectators are advised to avoid these roads during the specified hours.
Additionally, travelers using JLN Marg (from Rajghat to Kamla Market Roundabout), Asaf Ali Road (from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate), and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (from Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Agarwal Chowk) should plan their journeys in advance to avoid potential heavy traffic near Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and ITO Chowk.
South Africa has already secured a spot in the semifinals, having won both of their Super-8 matches. They defeated India by 76 runs in their first match and then triumphed over the West Indies by 9 wickets in their second.
On the other hand, Zimbabwe has been eliminated from the semifinal race. They will be looking to end the tournament on a high note, as they have yet to secure a victory against South Africa in T20 format.
