Udaipur, March 23: The Udaipur District Powerlifting Association will organize the 14th Udaipur District Junior and Sub-Junior Classic Powerlifting Competition on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Lavkush Indoor Stadium.
Secretary of the Udaipur District Powerlifting Association, Vinod Sahu, announced that male and female athletes wishing to participate must submit copies of their birth certificate, Aadhaar card, 10th-grade mark sheet, and proof of residence by 9:00 AM on the day of the weigh-in. Only athletes aged 23 and under for the junior category and 18 and under for the sub-junior category will be eligible to compete. The competition will commence at 10:30 AM.
Dinesh Shrimali, President of the Udaipur District Powerlifting Association, stated that the competition will serve as a selection event for the Udaipur District Junior and Sub-Junior male and female teams. The selected teams will compete in the 14th Rajasthan State Junior and Sub-Junior Classic Powerlifting Competition, scheduled to be held in Alwar from April 4 to 5.
