Congress Leader Dotasra Criticizes Government Over Panchayat Elections Delay

Jaipur, April 2: Congress state president Govind Dotasra has launched a sharp attack on the state government regarding the upcoming Panchayati Raj elections. In a press conference, he stated that according to the Supreme Court‘s clear directive, Panchayati Raj elections can be conducted even without the OBC commission‘s report. Despite this, the state government appears to be attempting to postpone the elections.

Dotasra raised concerns about the government’s decision to conduct elections based on the old voter list, despite the new voter list (SIR) already being prepared. He accused the government of deliberately complicating the process to delay the elections. He emphasized that the Congress party takes this issue seriously and will submit a written memorandum to the election department, and if necessary, will approach the court.

Dotasra asserted that delaying the democratic process undermines the rights of the public, and the Congress party will not tolerate this at any cost.
