Rajsamand, April 3: In a meeting held in Rampur as part of the Congress party‘s ‘Organize to Strengthen Democracy’ campaign, former Assembly Speaker and senior Congress leader Dr. C.P. Joshi delivered a stern message to party workers regarding both the organization and governance. He stated that action will be taken against officials involved in corruption in the region, and a full account of their corrupt activities will be demanded. He also warned that any officer who unjustly treats Congress workers will not be tolerated.
Dr. Joshi emphasized the importance of strengthening the organization, asserting that success is guaranteed when workers collaborate effectively. He referenced the changes occurring within the Congress under Rahul Gandhi‘s leadership, highlighting the current era of information revolution where every activity is documented. He made it clear that recognition within the organization will now be based on performance rather than mere names.
During the meeting, he issued strict directives to officials. Joshi stated that any officer who fails to attend three consecutive meetings will be automatically considered removed from their position, allowing new workers to take their place. He also instructed that a district-level executive should be formed within a month, ensuring the appointment of village council and ward presidents at the block and division levels.
On this occasion, District President Aditya Pratap Singh also addressed the workers, stating that the developmental works initiated by Dr. C.P. Joshi will be communicated to the public in accordance with the party’s directives.
Former District President Devkinandan Gurjar remarked that while Gandhi was alone, he gathered a following as he moved forward. Block President Shankarlal Chaudhary, Division President Lakshmilal Menaria, Block Congress Organization Secretary Mahendra Singh Gorwa, and other leaders also spoke during the meeting, which was conducted by Block Organization Secretary Mahendra Singh Gorwa.
