Rajendra Rathore Postpones Birthday Celebration to Welcome PM Modi

Churu, April 19: Senior BJP leader and former opposition leader Rajendra Rathore has decided to postpone his birthday celebration originally scheduled for April 21. This decision comes in light of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Rajasthan on the same day for the inauguration of the Balotara refinery. Rathore emphasized that welcoming the Prime Minister and the opportunity for his guidance is far more significant than any personal celebration.

Preparations for Rathore’s birthday had been underway in Churu for the past week, with notable attendees expected, including Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, and Minister of State for Law Arjun Ram Meghwal. However, following the announcement of the Prime Minister’s schedule, Rathore shifted his priorities and instructed his supporters to reschedule the birthday event to April 22.

Rathore stated that while birthdays occur every year, the arrival of the country’s top leadership in the state is a special occasion. He described it as a moment of pride and enthusiasm, asserting that he will personally welcome the Prime Minister in Balotara and play an active role in the refinery program. He highlighted the importance of hospitality in accordance with Rajasthan’s traditions.

This political development sends multiple messages: on one hand, Rathore has demonstrated his commitment to the organization and leadership, while on the other hand, it reflects coordination and prioritization within the BJP.
