
Ahmedabad, April 17: A remarkable donation event took place at the Sawaliya Seth Temple on the auspicious day of Chaturdashi. The temple committee’s vice president, Babulal Ojha, announced that a total of ₹1 crore 55 lakh 37 thousand 340 was collected during the ceremony. This amount includes ₹84 lakh 71 thousand 395 from the temple’s offerings and an additional ₹70 lakh 65 thousand 345 received online.
The donation box was opened after the Rajbhog Aarti dedicated to Lord Sawaliya Seth. Present at the event were several key figures, including temple committee vice president Babulal Ojha, treasurer Ashok Agarwal, and executive officer Prahlad Rai Soni, along with other committee members and bank representatives.
The donations reflect the community’s devotion and support for the temple, showcasing the significance of faith and collective effort in such religious gatherings.
