New Delhi, June 19: BJP state president Madan Rathore has targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, stating that he does not engage in serious politics and makes statements without thought. Rathore accused Gandhi of attempting to mislead students, asserting that the youth of the country are wise and will not be swayed by his rhetoric.
During a media interaction in New Delhi, Rathore emphasized that students are well aware that someone who does not exhibit prudent and responsible behavior cannot teach others about wisdom. He alleged that Gandhi is merely raising issues concerning youth and students for political gain.
Rathore also commented on the recent NEET paper leak incident, clarifying that it is linked to Kerala and has no connection to Rajasthan. Despite this, he noted that Gandhi continues to make political statements in Rajasthan. While he acknowledged the right of everyone to express their views in a democracy, he argued that such politics is damaging Gandhi’s image.
Attacking the Congress party, Rathore highlighted that during Ashok Gehlot’s tenure in Rajasthan, several paper leak incidents occurred, yet Gandhi did not raise his voice for the youth at that time. He pointed out that many young people had their job offers rescinded, shattering their dreams during the Congress government’s rule. In contrast, he praised the current government for taking prompt action to ensure necessary arrangements when irregularities in examinations arise.
When questioned by journalists, Rathore remarked that some individuals are allied with other parties not on a policy basis but due to circumstances. He believes that as they come to understand the importance of the real situation and national perspective, they will make the right decisions. He noted that political parties lacking a clear national agenda gradually lose the support of representatives and workers.
Rathore expressed confidence that the number of those joining the BJP, which works with the spirit of putting the nation first and the resolve for a developed India, will continue to grow. He reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of transforming India into a developed nation, emphasizing that the Modi government prioritizes national interest, strengthens the country, ensures equal rights for women, and fosters comprehensive development. Rathore is optimistic that as awareness increases, people will place greater trust in the BJP’s policies and Modi’s leadership.
