BJP President Nitin Nabin Engages with Gen-Z in Jaipur: A Call for Youth Participation in Politics

Jaipur, September 26: BJP National President and Rajya Sabha MP Nitin Nabin held a youth dialogue at the Birla Auditorium in Jaipur on Friday evening. The event gathered young participants from across the state, focusing on their experiences, future plans, and involvement in politics aimed at building a developed India. This youth dialogue was a key initiative during Nabin’s visit to Jaipur, designed to enhance direct engagement with the younger generation.

During the program, Nabin initiated the conversation using a popular slogan associated with Rajasthan, saying, “Dal-Bati-Churma.” Initially, there was no response from the audience. With a smile, he prompted them for a reply. Upon repeating the slogan, some youths responded with, “We are the heroes of Rajasthan.”

When the voices were faint, Nabin humorously remarked that it didn’t sound like the voice of Rajasthan, questioning if the youths were called from elsewhere. Following this, the audience collectively shouted, “We are the heroes of Rajasthan.” This slogan has been used in political rallies and public gatherings in Rajasthan before.

Youths Asked: Who Wants to Enter Politics?

Nitin Nabin directly asked the audience, “How many of you want to enter politics?” Only a few hands were raised. He noted that the number of youths interested in politics seemed low.

He emphasized the need for youth participation in politics, stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi frequently encourages new faces and young individuals to enter the political arena. According to Nabin, politics is the medium through which the country receives direction and new leadership. This was his political message, linking it to youth involvement and leadership development.

The BJP had previously highlighted the youth dialogue at Birla Auditorium as a platform focused on youth-related issues, nation-building, and their participation in the organization.

“New Leadership Comes from Politics”

Nabin urged youths not to view politics merely as a means to contest elections or attain positions. He explained that participating in the political process offers an opportunity to contribute to the country’s future, policies, and leadership development.

He cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership as an example, noting that the change in political leadership has boosted the confidence of young people. Reflecting on the period of 2012-2013, he mentioned that there was a sense of despair among the youth regarding their future. He claimed that with Modi’s national leadership, this confidence has grown, encouraging youths to believe in their potential and the nation’s progress. This assessment reflects Nabin’s political perspective rather than an independently measured fact.

Linking Youth to Developed India 2047

During the youth dialogue, Nabin elaborated on Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a “Developed India 2047.” He stated that significant national goals can only be achieved when society, especially the youth, shares a common purpose.

He referenced the development of the United States and China, asserting that collective national aspirations play a crucial role in a nation’s progress. By using examples like the “Great American Dream” and China’s collective development goals, Nabin emphasized that India must also move forward with a shared resolve to become a developed nation by 2047. These historical examples were part of his speech and should not be interpreted as independent historical conclusions.

Nitin Nabin reiterated that the Prime Minister has set the goal of a developed India by 2047, emphasizing that achieving this requires not just government efforts but also active citizen participation. He encouraged youths to actively engage in discussions related to their careers and personal futures, linking them to the broader context of national development.
