BJPs March for Democracy in Jaipur: Chief Minister to Join Ashwini Vaishnaw on November 5

Jaipur, November 4: The BJP is set to hold a significant march titled “Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy” in Jaipur on November 5, focusing on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will join Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on the streets for this event. Manju Sharma, the organizer of the march and Jaipur MP, confirmed that the Chief Minister will also participate in a public meeting at Ramleela Maidan.

According to Manju Sharma, following the public meeting, the symbolic march will proceed from Ramleela Maidan to Tripoliya Gate via Chauraha Road. Senior leaders, officials, and representatives from the state will accompany Vaishnaw and the Chief Minister during the march. The party aims to gather over 10,000 participants for this event.

Manju Sharma Accuses Congress of Creating Confusion

Manju Sharma stated that the party intends to firmly present its stance on the SIR to the public. She accused Congress of sowing confusion regarding this issue and attempting to create distrust in the electoral process. She emphasized that BJP workers will engage with the public to counter these allegations. The BJP asserts that the Special Intensive Revision is a process aimed at protecting the rights of eligible voters and enhancing the reliability of the voter list.

The party has indicated that whether it’s MPs or MLAs, in the assembly or on the streets, they will respond to Congress’s accusations on every front.

Shortened March Due to Diwali Shopping

In planning the march route, the BJP has taken into account the Diwali shopping rush and the markets within the walled city. Heavy crowds are expected during the festival, and a longer march could disrupt traffic and business activities. Therefore, the symbolic march will be limited to the distance from Ramleela Maidan to Tripoliya Gate to minimize inconvenience for traders and the public.

Responsibilities have been assigned to party workers at the assembly constituency, mandal, and ward levels for the event. Mandal presidents, councilors, candidates, and ward in-charges have been instructed to mobilize as many workers as possible.
