Congress Gears Up for Major Rally in Delhi with Ambitious Goals

Jaipur, October 28: The Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee is making significant preparations for the “Vote Save – Country Save” rally scheduled for November 1 at Ramleela Maidan in Delhi. District presidents have been tasked with reporting the number of party workers traveling to Delhi, along with uploading evidence such as photos and videos to the party’s connect portal. Additionally, teams stationed at party checkpoints along state borders will record information about attendees heading to the rally.

State President Govind Singh Dotasra convened a meeting at the Pradesh Congress Committee’s war room to review the preparations for the rally. Discussions focused on the logistics for the transportation of workers and vehicles traveling to Delhi. Key officials, including Control Room Coordinator Ramsingh Kaswa, were present at the meeting.

The party aims to mobilize one lakh people from Rajasthan for this rally. Congress National Organization General Secretary K.C. Venugopal visited Jaipur on October 25 to assess the preparations. A control room with a team of 29 members has been established at the state headquarters, and meetings are ongoing at various levels, from block to state, in light of the upcoming panchayat elections.

Women’s Congress Sets Target of 50,000 Participants

The National President of the Women’s Congress, Alka Lamba, held a meeting with female workers in Jaipur to strategize their participation in the rally. The Women’s Congress has set an ambitious goal of bringing 50,000 women workers to Delhi from across the country.

Lamba accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of plotting to undermine the India Alliance rally but expressed confidence that the event would still be a success.
