
Hamirpur, March 30: In a significant event held at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium in the Hamirpur Collectorate, MLA Manisha Anuragi distributed appointment letters to 12 newly selected Anganwadi workers and 23 assistants in the presence of District Magistrate Ghanshyam Meena.
Additionally, 38 Anganwadi workers and 16 supervisors received smartphones, and six newly constructed Anganwadi centers were inaugurated. The event also featured a live broadcast of a state-level program conducted in Lucknow.
District Magistrate Ghanshyam Meena congratulated the newly appointed workers, emphasizing the government’s ongoing efforts to empower women and promote self-reliance. He urged the Anganwadi workers to take their responsibilities for maternal and child health seriously and to stay well-informed about departmental tasks.
MLA Manisha Anuragi also extended her best wishes, highlighting the foundational role of Anganwadi workers in society and their crucial contribution to combating malnutrition.
The event was attended by several officials, including MP representative Ashok Tiwari and District Program Officer Indrapal Singh, along with a large number of Anganwadi workers and assistants.
