Jhalawar, April 10: Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje‘s recent statement has sparked discussions in political circles. On Thursday, she launched the fourth phase of the ‘Jan Samvad Yatra’ in the town of Manohar, Jhalawar district, accompanied by her son and MP Dushyant Singh. During the event, Raje addressed the public’s concerns, highlighting that many small issues often remain unresolved—some struggle to obtain housing, others face delays in pension disbursement, and some are unable to receive compensation.
Sharing her recent experiences, Raje mentioned that many individuals approached her with their problems. However, she expressed that sometimes, people are unable to help themselves due to their circumstances. Emotionally, she stated, “I could not do anything for myself, so how can I help you? I lost everything; I could not save myself, and you ask me to save you.” This poignant remark has ignited conversations at both political and social levels.
During the event, Raje and MP Dushyant Singh commenced their pilgrimage at the Kamkheda Balaji Dham. Raje described the Jan Samvad Yatra as challenging, noting that in the previous phase, she received overwhelming support and blessings from the public. She mentioned that there were concerns about whether the journey would attract a crowd, but the public dispelled those doubts with significant participation.
On this occasion, Raje also inaugurated two new initiatives for Jhalawar city. She opened the Gagron Fort Gallery at the historic Garh Palace and an attractive selfie point in front of the palace. Raje emphasized that Jhalawar is rich in historical, cultural, and natural heritage and needs to strengthen its identity on the tourism map.
She stated that innovations like the Gagron Fort Gallery will play a crucial role in preserving local heritage while attracting tourists from both national and international backgrounds. During the program, she also took photos at the new selfie point and reiterated her commitment to the region’s development.
