
Chittorgarh, April 14: The completion ceremony of the Samriddhi Campaign 2.0, part of the NITI Aayog‘s aspirational block program, was held in a dignified atmosphere at the Nimbahera Panchayat Samiti premises on Tuesday.
The chief guest for the event was Shrichand Kripalani, while District Collector Dr. Manju presided over the function. The ceremony was attended by former District Chief Gabbar Singh Ahir, former MLA Ashok Navalakha, Bagdiram Dhakad, various public representatives, and administrative officials.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Sub-Divisional Officer Vikas Pancholi. Following this, the guests paid tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary by garlanding his portrait and lighting a lamp. The event was conducted by Development Officer Lakshman Lal Khatik.
The Development Officer stated that this campaign ran from January 28 to April 14, 2026, with the aim of saturating six key indicators. These indicators included departments such as Women and Child Development, Education, and Animal Husbandry.
In his address, chief guest Shrichand Kripalani remarked that this campaign is a powerful effort to provide new direction to rural development, resulting in positive changes in education, health, and nutrition sectors. He praised the officials for their work ethic and team spirit.
For their outstanding contributions, the District Collector and MLA honored several individuals, including NITI Aayog’s ABF Radhakishan Sharma, Nimbahera CDPO Dilip Singh Rathore, Nimbahera CBE Officer Arvind Moondra, and Animal Husbandry Department’s DD Dr. Omprakash Mehra.
District Collector Dr. Manju emphasized that the campaign’s goal is not merely to fulfill statistics but to bring real improvements to the lives of the common people. She instructed officials to ensure the benefits of schemes reach the last person and to maintain regular monitoring.
At the end of the program, all public representatives and officials pledged to make Nimbahera clean, healthy, and self-reliant. The event concluded with the national anthem. During this occasion, information about the activities of self-help groups under the Women and Child Development Department was shared, and programs for Gharbhadhan and Annaprashan were also organized. Finally, additional Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Purohit expressed gratitude.
