Former MP Ramcharan Bohra Demands Apology from Congress Leaders for Insulting Remarks

Jaipur, October 26: Former BJP MP Ramcharan Bohra has condemned Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bohra stated that both Kharge and Rahul Gandhi should apologize to the nation for their comments. He emphasized that Congress leaders repeatedly violate political decorum, recalling previous instances where derogatory terms were used against the Prime Minister’s mother.

Bohra acknowledged that while Congress has the right to express political dissent, targeting Modi’s family and using disrespectful language is unacceptable. “Democracy should foster ideological debate, not personal insults,” he asserted.

He further criticized Congress leaders for prioritizing personal attacks over discussions on development, public welfare, and policies, stating that the public will not tolerate such comments.

Controversy Over Statement Made in Patna

Kharge’s remarks came during a speech in Patna when he responded to a crowd member’s comment about Modi not leaving office, saying, “Even Modi’s father will leave.” Following this statement, the BJP organized protests in several cities, demanding an apology from the Congress leadership. BJP state president Maan Rathore also called for a public apology. In defense, Congress stated that a BJP worker had previously insulted Kharge’s late father during the same speech.
