Mumbai, July 22: BJP President Nitin Naveen has launched a sharp critique of Rahul Gandhi and his team regarding their march to the Prime Minister’s residence. He stated that Gandhi’s behavior is not in line with the dignity of his position and responsibilities. While he acknowledged the right to protest in a democracy, he emphasized that chaos and violations of constitutional norms cannot be tolerated under the guise of dissent.
Naveen accused Gandhi and his team of deliberately attempting to create disorder during the march to the Prime Minister’s residence. He pointed out that the Prime Minister represents not just one political party but the 1.4 billion citizens of the country. Therefore, marching towards the Prime Minister’s residence is more a display of political chaos than a democratic protest.
He further stated that Parliament is the supreme platform for democratic discussion and dialogue. The government and the BJP are always ready to discuss every significant issue concerning the nation in Parliament. The opposition should raise their concerns in the House with facts and arguments, rather than attempting to disrupt the political atmosphere on the streets.
Naveen reiterated that political differences are a natural part of democracy, but respecting constitutional positions, institutions, and security arrangements is the responsibility of all parties. He made it clear that while the BJP respects democratic protests, it will not accept chaotic politics, indiscipline, or unbecoming conduct under any circumstances.
