Hanuman Beniwal Raises Concerns Over Security Arrangements in Rajasthan

Jaipur, July 19: Hanuman Beniwal, the leader of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party and MP from Nagaur, has made serious allegations against certain Rajasthan police officials regarding his security arrangements. On Saturday, he shared information on the social media platform ‘X’, stating that he had sent a police officer assigned to his security back to the reserve police line.

Beniwal accused the authorities of deliberately undermining his security and expressed concerns about a potential conspiracy against him. He has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, demanding a fair investigation and adequate security measures.

“This is not just a personal security issue”
Beniwal emphasized that the matter extends beyond his personal safety; it is a serious issue related to the security of public representatives and the democratic system. He alleged that some officials managing the police administration in Nagaur are deploying police personnel suffering from serious health issues for his security duties.

He stated that such deployments not only jeopardize his safety but also pose risks to the health and lives of the police officers involved.

Reference to Health Conditions of Three Policemen
In his letter, Beniwal mentioned the health conditions of three policemen: Sunil Bishnoi, Balveer Gurjar, and Sitaram. He claimed that it is inappropriate to assign these officers, who are battling severe health problems, to security duties. He questioned how the effectiveness of security arrangements can be ensured under such circumstances.

However, an official response from the police department regarding the actual medical conditions of these officers and the reasons for their deployment is still awaited.

Questions Raised Over Previous Security Reduction
The MP alleged that the security arrangements previously provided to him based on intelligence inputs were later altered. He stated that he was not given clear information regarding the reasons for reducing or changing his security.

Beniwal has demanded that the relevant agencies clarify when and on what basis his security was reviewed, and what criteria were followed in selecting the personnel assigned to him.

Concerns of a Conspiracy
Beniwal expressed fears of a conspiracy against him regarding the entire situation. He stated that repeated occurrences of such circumstances in his security cannot be dismissed as mere administrative negligence.

He has urged both the central and state governments to intervene, establish accountability, and ensure that only physically capable and trained police personnel are assigned to security duties.

Letter to Amit Shah and Chief Minister
In his letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Hanuman Beniwal has requested a fair investigation into the entire matter. He has called for a reassessment of his security arrangements, an inquiry into the roles of the involved officials, and action against any negligence or deliberate irregularities that may come to light.
