Jaipur, July 13: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Rajasthan held a 5-kilometer marathon titled “Run Against Paper Leak” as part of its “Students’ Voice” campaign. This event took place under the leadership of NSUI National President Vinod Jakhar, starting from the main gate of Rajasthan University and concluding back at the same location after passing through Albert Hall.
A significant number of students, youth, and NSUI activists participated, strongly advocating for transparent and fair recruitment examinations.
The marathon was flagged off by several prominent leaders, including Opposition Leader Tikaram Julie, MLA Manish Yadav, Shikha Meal Barala, Women Congress State President Sarika Chaudhary, former MLA Indra Raj Gurjar, Congress candidate Pushpendra Bhardwaj from Sanganeer, and other senior leaders.
During the event, Vinod Jakhar emphasized that incidents of paper leaks have jeopardized the futures of millions of youth in the country. He stated that students work hard for years, only to have their efforts undermined by a corrupt system.
Jakhar reaffirmed that NSUI will continue to fight for students’ rights and ensure a transparent examination system. He stressed that transparency, accountability, and fairness in recruitment exams are the rights of the youth.
At the conclusion of the program, cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners of the marathon. NSUI announced that through the “Students’ Voice” campaign, it aims to amplify the voices of students nationwide and persistently demand accountability and transparency in the education system.
