Jaipur, June 17: Political tensions within the BJP are escalating as a war of words intensifies between Nagaur MP and party spokesperson Ram Lal Sharma. The controversy deepened following Sharma’s recent comments directed at the Nagaur MP. He criticized the notion that telling supporters “you will become leaders if you go to jail” sends a negative message about politics. Sharma urged supporters to maintain peace, adhere to the law, and avoid any form of misconduct.
Without naming anyone, Sharma also remarked that a political party with no seats in the assembly making claims about forming the next government is far from reality and merely a fantasy. He dismissed such assertions as “Mungerilal’s dreams.”
In response, the Nagaur MP downplayed Sharma’s remarks, stating that he has known Sharma since their days in student politics. He noted that during their university days, young activists like Sharma used to carry his bag.
This exchange has sparked discussions in political circles, with the opposition keeping a close watch on the ongoing statements within the BJP. However, the party has yet to issue an official response to the controversy. Political analysts believe that the increasing public statements among some party leaders indicate organizational discomfort.
