Tonk, July 18: Congress National General Secretary and Tonk MLA Sachin Pilot held a meeting with district administration officials on Saturday morning to review ongoing development projects in the area. The discussion focused on various departmental plans, pending projects, and the progress of issues affecting the public.
Pilot emphasized the importance of completing development projects within the stipulated time frame without compromising on quality. He directed officials to prioritize the resolution of complaints and issues raised by the local population.
During the review meeting, the status of works across various departments, including roads, drinking water, electricity, education, healthcare, sanitation, and rural development, was discussed. Pilot inquired about the reasons for delays in pending projects and the proposed timelines for their completion. He urged that any administrative or technical hurdles be resolved quickly through departmental coordination.
Pilot instructed officials to ensure that the public does not have to make repeated visits to government offices. Complaints should be addressed in a timely manner, with relevant officials regularly monitoring progress. He specifically called for swift action on issues related to drinking water, roads, electricity, and healthcare services in rural areas.
He stressed that the benefits of development projects will only be meaningful if they are completed on time and meet quality standards. Officials were advised to conduct regular inspections of construction works and hold accountable those found negligent.
