Karauli, June 10: Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot unveiled the statue of the late Rajesh Pilot in the Sakarghta village of the Masalpur area in Karauli district on Tuesday. During the grand farmers’ conference held at this event, he addressed farmers, villagers, and Congress workers, sharing his thoughts on farmer interests, rural development, and public welfare issues.
A large number of farmers and local citizens attended the program. While recalling Rajesh Pilot’s political and social contributions, Sachin Pilot emphasized that he had strongly voiced the concerns of farmers, youth, and rural communities at the national level. He noted that Rajesh Pilot’s legacy of public service, simplicity, and struggle continues to inspire people today.
The event was graced by several senior Congress leaders, including Bhajan Lal Jatav, Karauli Congress District President and MLA Ghanshyam Mehar, former minister Ramesh Meena, MLA Anita Jatav, former MLA Lakhan Singh Meena, MLA Sanjay Jatav, former MLA Omprakash Hudla, former MLA Vedprakash Solanki, former MLA Amar Singh Jatav, and former MP Mulchand Meena.
The farmers’ conference saw the participation of thousands of farmers. Discussions were held on issues related to agriculture, rural infrastructure, and social concerns. Leaders expressed their commitment to follow the ideals of the late Rajesh Pilot while remembering his contributions.
