Sangeeta Garg Voices Discontent Over Meeting Participation and Media Misrepresentation

Jaipur, September 27: Sangeeta Ramchandra Garg, the General Secretary of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee and National Coordinator of the All India Mahila Congress, has expressed her objections regarding her name being associated with a recent Congress workers’ meeting. She attended the meeting upon receiving an invitation but left due to disagreements with the discussions surrounding the organization. Garg is opposing the media’s portrayal of her involvement in the meeting.

According to Garg, she was informed that the agenda of the meeting was to strengthen the Congress party. However, upon her arrival, she discovered that negative remarks about the organization were being made. She disagreed with the discussions aimed at removing the district president, which led her to decide against continuing her participation in the meeting.

Garg emphasized her loyalty to the Congress party, stating her belief in unity, discipline, and collective leadership within the organization. She acknowledged that differences regarding positions or responsibilities may arise but insisted that they should be resolved through dialogue and organizational processes. “I believe in uniting the organization, not dividing it,” she affirmed.

Touching on the expectations of workers regarding election tickets, Garg noted that not every interested worker can be granted a ticket. She urged fellow workers to rise above personal expectations and work towards supporting the party’s candidates. Her primary goal, she stated, is not to take sides but to strengthen the Congress organization.
