Senior Democratic leaders have labeled the action as unauthorized and dangerous, while Republican lawmakers describe it as a decisive and necessary step.

Senate Intelligence Vice Chairman Mark Warner stated that the President has launched extensive attacks targeting not just nuclear or missile infrastructure but also senior Iranian leadership. He warned that this could draw the U.S. into another widespread conflict in the Middle East, raising legal and constitutional questions about the action.
