NEW DELHI, April 13 German automotive giant Volkswagen is set to launch the much-anticipated Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line in India on April 14, 2025. The sporty SUV, poised to replace the now-discontinued standard Tiguan, will debut as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and marks a bold new step in Volkswagen’s India strategy.

Sportier Successor to the Standard Tiguan
The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line arrives with a striking design overhaul, built on the updated MQB Evo platform, known for its versatility across powertrains. Aimed at customers seeking performance with luxury, the Tiguan R-Line boasts aggressive styling, larger 19-inch alloy wheels, a bold radiator grille, and connected LED taillamps. R-Line badges and redesigned bumpers add to its sporty flair. The SUV will be available in six color options, including standout shades like Persimmon Red Metallic and Cipressino Green Metallic.
