RAJASTHAN: Lightning Strike Kills 5-Year-Old Girl
Tragedy struck Jaipur, Rajasthan, where a 5-year-old girl lost her life after a lightning strike during a thunderstorm on Sunday. In Sikar, torrential rainfall led to urban flooding, disrupting traffic and local movement. The IMD has placed an Orange Alert for western Rajasthan and a Yellow Alert for eastern parts, indicating the likelihood of further intense weather.
MP and UP Hit by Hail and Storms
Across Madhya Pradesh, violent thunderstorms and heavy rains caused damage in several districts. In Chhatarpur, a mobile tower collapsed due to strong winds. Cities such as Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, and Khandwa reported hailstorms along with intense rainfall.
