With maximum temperatures climbing across the state, cities like Barmer recorded a daytime high of 30.1°C on Monday, signaling the arrival of warmer days. Meteorologists predict a significant improvement in minimum temperatures starting January 29, with rain likely in the first week of February.

The rise in maximum temperatures has reduced daytime chill in cities such as Alwar, Ajmer, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer. For instance, Barmer experienced sunny weather with temperatures reaching 30.1°C, while Jodhpur recorded 28.6°C. Jaipur also witnessed bright sunshine, making it feel more like spring in February rather than the cold days of Magh.
