Weather Shift in Madhya Pradesh as Temperatures Fluctuate
Bhopal, February 21 Madhya Pradesh is experiencing a shift in weather patterns, with temperatures gradually rising in most districts. However, starting Friday, the state will witness a drop in temperature by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Bhopal and Gwalior are likely to experience cloudy conditions, while Indore and Ujjain will continue to see clear skies.

Weather Forecast: Temperature Drop Expected by Weekend
The changing weather conditions are expected to persist until the end of February. According to IMD experts, the current weather shift is caused by:
Cyclonic Circulation Positioned over southern Pakistan and Rajasthan, impacting Madhya Pradesh’s atmospheric pressure.
Western Disturbance An active weather system in North INDIA, influencing temperature variations across the state.
These factors have resulted in fluctuating temperatures, which are set to decline from today.
Madhya Pradesh Temperature Trends: Highs and Lows
On Thursday, various districts recorded high temperatures above 30°C, with Khargone registering the highest temperature at 34°C.
Cities with Maximum Temperatures Above 33°C:
Khargone 34°C
Seoni, Mandla, Guna, Khandwa, Ratlam Above 33°C
Cities with Maximum Temperatures Around 31°C:
Damoh, Khajuraho, Sagar, Dhar, Narmadapuram 31°C or higher
Bhopal 31.6°C
Indore 30.6°C
Gwalior 28.8°C
Ujjain 31.4°C
Night temperatures have also increased, but a drop is expected from Friday onwards.
Additionally, light rainfall was recorded in Morena and Bhind on Thursday, adding to the weather fluctuations in the region.
