
Mumbai, April 15: The Sen community of Nimbahera and Chokhla celebrated the birth anniversary of their revered deity, Sen Ji Maharaj, with great enthusiasm on Tuesday. The festivities commenced with a grand procession from the Radha Krishna Temple, featuring images of Sen Ji Maharaj and Narayani Mata. The procession traversed various streets of the town, culminating at Shri Ram Colony, where aarti was performed in honor of the deities.
Local MLA Shri Chand Kripalani, former MLA Ashok Navalakha, BJP city president Kapil Chaudhary, former city president Nitin Chaturvedi, and secretary Devkaran Samdani attended the event, extending their greetings to the Sen community on this auspicious occasion.
The procession received a warm welcome at Chitodi Darwaza from Congress officials and at Pancholi Chauraha from BJP representatives, who showered flowers on the participants.
Before the procession, a water cooler was inaugurated at the Radha Krishna Temple, donated by JK Cement Works Nimbahera, with a young girl from the community performing the honors. Community members expressed their gratitude to the JK Cement management for this generous contribution.
Prominent figures from the Sen community, including Chokhla president Radheshyam Sen and city president Sandeep Sen, along with a large number of women, were present to celebrate this significant event.
