Low-Interest Loans for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in Rajasthan – Applications Open in Udaipur

Udaipur, April 7 The Rajasthan Other Backward Classes Finance and Development Cooperative Corporation (Anuja Nigam) has announced a special subsidized interest loan scheme for individuals belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS). Under this initiative, loans ranging from ₹1.25 lakh to ₹15 lakh will be provided at an interest rate of just 5% to 6%.

Application Process and Deadline

Project Manager Mandhata Singh informed that interested applicants can obtain the application forms on April 8 until 2 PM from the Anuja Nigam office located at Room No. 103, Zila Parishad Campus, Udaipur.

This move is aimed at promoting financial self-reliance and providing accessible funding options for underprivileged citizens to pursue small BUSINESS, education, housing, and other development-related goals.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: Applicants must be between 18 to 60 years old

• Category: Must belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS)

• Loan Amount: From ₹1.25 lakh to ₹15 lakh

• Interest Rate: Only 5% to 6%

Documents Required

Applicants must submit self-attested and notarized documents along with the application form:

1. EWS Certificate (Economically Weaker Section Proof)

2. Affidavit on ₹50 Stamp Paper, verified by a Notary Public

3. Copy of Ration Card

4. Copy of Aadhaar Card

5. Copy of Jan Aadhaar Card

6. Copy of Permanent Residence Certificate

Objective of the Scheme

This initiative is part of the state’s efforts to empower marginalized groups through affordable financing and to enhance livelihood opportunities for low-income families by easing their access to institutional credit.
