Weather Update INDIA — After days of scorching heat and heatwave warnings, residents of Madhya Pradesh can finally expect a brief respite from rising temperatures, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain, thunderstorms, and hailstorms across parts of the state for the next four days.

According to the IMD, a combination of one western disturbance, two cyclonic circulations, and two active troughs is influencing the weather across the state, leading to significant atmospheric changes. As a result:

No heatwave alert has been issued until April 15.

Day and night temperatures are expected to drop further.

Rain and strong winds are likely in 31 districts, including Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Narmadapuram, Rewa, Shahdol, Sagar divisions.

Hailstorms may occur in Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla, and Balaghat districts on Saturday.
