Lucknow, INDIA — In a major administrative reshuffle late Tuesday night, the Government of Uttar Pradesh transferred 16 IAS officers, including the District Magistrates (DMs) of six districts. The move marks another significant step in the state’s governance restructuring drive. More transfers, including those of senior IPS officers, are expected shortly.

Key District Magistrate Appointments
Among the most notable changes:

Chandravijay Singh, DM of Ayodhya, has been appointed Special Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department.

Nikhil Tikaram Funde, DM of Chandauli, will now serve as the new DM of Ayodhya.

Chandramohan Garg, Municipal Commissioner of Prayagraj, has been named DM of Chandauli.

Seelam Sai Teja, CDO of Jaunpur, becomes Municipal Commissioner of Prayagraj.

Mrinali Avinash Joshi, Joint Magistrate of Gorakhpur, is now CDO of Jaunpur.

Nisha, DM of Amethi, has been transferred as Mission Director, National AYUSH Mission.

Sanjay Chauhan, Municipal Commissioner of Saharanpur, will now serve as DM of Amethi.

Shipu Giri, Special Secretary, Higher Education, becomes Municipal Commissioner of Saharanpur.

Mahendra Verma, formerly Mission Director, National AYUSH Mission, has been appointed Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
Reshuffling Continues Across Etawah, Badaun, and Kannauj

Avneesh Kumar Rai, DM of Etawah, is now DM of Badaun.

Shubhrant Kumar Shukla, DM of Kannauj, moves to Etawah.

Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri, Special Secretary to the CM and Additional Director, State Agriculture Marketing Board, becomes DM of Kannauj.

Nidhi Srivastava, DM of Badaun, is now Special Secretary, Higher Education.

Sandeep Bhagia, CDO of Muzaffarnagar, has been appointed Additional Commissioner, Commercial Tax, Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Kandarkar Kamalkishore Deshbhooshan, Joint Magistrate of Meerut, will now serve as CDO of Muzaffarnagar.

Rajkumar Pratham, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Special Secretary, Energy Department.
