New Delhi, April 14: A significant initiative called the “Cow Respect Call Campaign” is set to launch across the nation on April 27. Meetings have been organized in various villages including Putholi, Suwania, Chaugavadi, Govaliya, Lalasa, Aajoliya Ka Khera, Kunwaliya, Tumbadiya, Sadas, and Ragunathpura in the Gangrar tehsil. Under the auspices of Shri 1008 Anuj Das Ji Maharaj from Mungana Dham, participants, including saints, cow devotees, and caretakers, unanimously agreed that this campaign will operate independently of any organization or political party, focusing solely on the reverence for cows and Nandi Baba.
The primary goals of the campaign include advocating for the recognition of the cow as the national mother, enforcing a complete ban on cow slaughter, and establishing robust government policies to protect cow welfare. At each tehsil level, petitions will be submitted to the Tehsildar, urging the government to enact central laws for cow protection and impose strict penalties on those involved in cow slaughter and trafficking.
Gaurav Somani, the district coordinator for the Cow Respect Call Campaign, emphasized that the initiative will remain non-political and non-violent. There will be no speeches, public announcements, or political undertones. The campaign will focus solely on prayer, hymns, and public awareness, with the imagery of Nandi Maharaj and the cow serving as its symbols.
This initiative aims to foster a culture of respect and protection for cows, encouraging community participation without any property damage or disruption.
